Cathrine Harboe-Ree

Ms Cathrine Harboe-Ree was the Monash University Librarian from 2002-2017. She played a transformative research data management leadership role at Monash and within the Council of Australian University Librarians for many years. Cathrine is a director of the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) Board (2019-2020) and the inaugural Chair of the Steering Committee of Monash University’s health data research infrastructure platform Helix (2017-2018). She was previously the Monash representative on the Australian National Data Service Steering Committee (2008-2018), for which Monash was the lead agent, and has been a member of a number of national research infrastructure committees, including the National Research Infrastructure Roadmap Expert Capability Team on Underpinning Research Infrastructure (2016), the Australian eResearch Infrastructure Council (AeRIC) (2007-09) and the joint ministerial Australian eResearch Coordinating Committee (2005-06). In 2012 Cathrine was made a Member of the Order of Australia.
