The XII International Conference on Grape Breeding and Genetics will highlight the most recent scientific progress aimed at the genetic improvement of grapevine focusing on: ampelography, grapevine genetics, genomics, cis-genomics and epigenomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, fluxomics, plant physiology, phenotyping, and bioinformatics. The dramatic recent progress in most of these areas emphasizes the interest of the conference.

Under the auspice of the International Society for Horticultural Science, the event will be hosted in one of the most famous and influential wine producing regions in the world, the city of Bordeaux.
