The “Saclay Plant Sciences” Laboratory of Excellence (SPS LabEx, www.saclayplantsciences.fr) was created in 2011 as part of the French “Investments for the Future” program. It gathers around 50 research teams working on plant sciences, in four laboratories from the South-West Paris area: the Jean-Pierre Bourgin Institute (IJPB, Versailles), the Institute of Plant Sciences Paris-Saclay (IPS2, Gif-sur-Yvette), the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (I2BC, Gif-sur-Yvette) and the Plant Genetics Unit (GQE-Le Moulon).
The SPS conference 2018 will be divided into 3 sessions including 8 focuses in total. Each of them will be opened by talks given by prestigious plant scientists. Session topics: Developmental and cell biology, Metabolism and environmental interactions, and Biotech and plant breeding.
