Save the date! The 4th annual Phenome conference (Phenome2020) will be held February 24-27, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona, USA at the Tucson Convention Center.
Phenome 2020 will focus on the tools and technologies for studying plant phenotypes and the insights we can learn from deploying these methodologies. Phenome 2020 seeks to build on collaborations among biologists, engineers, computer scientists, and more. The program emphasises how to collect, organise, and process data, as well as the statistical and conceptual frameworks necessary to understand biological complexity, from molecular to ecological scales.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Phenomics is a convergent discipline; and domestic and international scientists are welcome from all career stages and disciplinary backgrounds. Partnerships across education and training, basic and applied research, tools and techniques, diversity and inclusion, and public-private boundaries are encouraged.
NEW IN 2020:
In response to requests from previous Phenome attendees, the conference will be held at the Tucson Convention Center, close to all of the exciting activities downtown Tucson has to offer. Additionally, we are working hard to expand access by reducing cost of attendance, and have secured a hotel room block at $92 a night that includes breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and free parking!
More information about the conference and registration will be found at phenome2020.org. In the meantime, save February 24 – 27, 2020 in your calendars!
