Initially trained in the logistics and shipping industry, Ms Helli Meinecke has over 25 years of experience in the higher education sector. Helli has well-developed skills in business management and finance, in establishing effective operations and customer focussed teams, strategy development and performance management. Her roles as Business Manager of an ARC Special Research Centre (2000-08), Managing Director of The Plant Accelerator® (2008-17) and General Manager Operations of the Australian Plant Phenomics Network (2017-2024) have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the university and research sectors, as well as the intricacies surrounding the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). Helli is passionate about collaboration, resource sharing and supporting an organisation that underpins research excellence and innovation for crop improvement and sustainable agriculture.
