University of Adelaide Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Operations and Commercialisation) Michael Goodsite is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and a chartered engineer/engineering executive. His research is focused on meeting resource demand while minimising impact on the environment.

A champion of energy, resources and agriculture, Michael oversees these major research and partnerships for the University of Adelaide on behalf of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice President (Research).

He has previously been Director of the Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Energy Futures) at the University of Adelaide, and currently serves on a number of NCRIS Boards.
